Jamia Suffah is inspired by Aṣḥāb al-Ṣuffah—the Companions who devoted themselves to knowledge, worship, sacrifice, and the company of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم. Our mission is to nurture sincere students of sacred knowledge who combine rigorous Islamic study with humility, spiritual discipline, excellent character, and service to the Ummah. 01 Rigorous study of the Qur’an, Sunnah, Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsir, creed, and the Islamic sciences under qualified scholars. 02 Formation in sincerity, worship, humility, discipline, respect, responsibility, and the Prophetic character of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم. 03 Preparation to teach, guide, research, lead, and serve families, masājid, institutions, and communities with wisdom and sincerity. Full time Hifz
A full-time Hifz program for men and women of all ages, focused on Qur’an memorization, revision, and steady progress.
Full-Time ʿĀlim Course
Jamia Suffah welcomes brothers and sisters to its Full-Time ʿĀlim Course, a comprehensive 7-year program designed to cultivate a deep understanding of Arabic, Qur’an, Ḥadīth, Fiqh, and the core Islamic sciences.
Suffah After School Maktab
Jamia Suffah offers part-time Hifz, Nazirah, and Qāʿidah classes for boys and girls. Students receive structured Qur’an instruction focused on correct recitation, fluency, tajwīd, and memorization in a nurturing Islamic environment. Class Timings: Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Saturday Maktab
Jamia Suffah’s Saturday Maktab offers weekend Islamic classes for children, teens, and adult women. The program provides structured learning in Arabic Essentials, Islamic History, ʿAqīdah, and Etiquettes & Adab, helping students strengthen their faith, character, and Muslim identity in a caring Islamic environment.
Mini Mu’mins
Mini Mu’mins is Jamia Suffah’s summer Islamic enrichment program for preschoolers ages 3–5. Through stories, duas, adab, hands-on activities, and creative learning, children are introduced to Islam in a warm and nurturing environment while building love for Allah, the Qur’an, and the Prophet ﷺ.
Summer Camp
Jamia Suffah’s Summer Camp offers children ages 6–14 a meaningful summer experience filled with Islamic learning, Qur’an, duas, adab, activities, games, and creative projects. The program helps students strengthen their Muslim identity, build good character, and enjoy a positive summer in a caring Islamic environment.
Deen Essentials: Arabic Edition
Jamia Suffah’s Deen Essentials: Arabic Edition is a focused summer program designed to help students strengthen their connection with Islam, build confidence in their Muslim identity, and develop a foundational relationship with the Arabic language. Through a balanced curriculum of Islamic essentials, Qur’an connection, Arabic foundations, adab, and practical guidance, students are given the tools to live as confident and practicing Muslims.
Suffah Roots
Suffah Roots is Jamia Suffah’s 1-Year Arabic and Islamic Studies Program, designed to give students a strong foundation in Arabic, Fiqh, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, ʿAqīdah, adab, and sacred learning. Through weekly classes and practical workshops, students build the knowledge, discipline, and confidence needed to grow in their Deen.
