Little Hearts Growing in Faith, Character, and Joy
Mini Mu’mins is Jamia Suffah’s summer Islamic enrichment program for preschoolers ages 3–5. The program introduces young children to Islamic values, duas, stories, manners, creativity, movement, and positive social interaction in a warm and nurturing environment.

A Gentle Beginning in Islamic Learning
Young children learn best through warmth, repetition, movement, stories, creativity, and positive experiences. Mini Mu’mins introduces foundational Islamic ideas in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and easy for children to remember.
The program seeks to help children develop love for Allah, familiarity with Islamic words and practices, respect for others, confidence in the classroom, and joy in being Muslim.
The Mini Mu’mins Experience
Each day combines simple Islamic learning with creativity, movement, play, and social development.
Islamic Stories
Simple and engaging stories about the Prophets, good character, kindness, gratitude, and obedience to Allah.
Duas and Islamic Words
Short daily duas, Islamic greetings, important phrases, and simple expressions children can practice at home.
Adab and Manners
Respect for parents and teachers, sharing, listening, cleanliness, kindness, patience, and classroom manners.
Arts and Crafts
Age-appropriate projects and creative activities connected to Islamic themes and classroom lessons.
Movement and Play
Supervised games, movement, group activities, and play that support healthy development and cooperation.
Friendship and Confidence
Opportunities to make friends, communicate, participate, follow routines, and grow comfortable in a classroom setting.
What Children Are Encouraged to Develop
The program supports spiritual, personal, social, and classroom development.
Love for Islam
Positive early experiences connected to Allah, Islam, and the Muslim community.
Good Manners
Kindness, sharing, listening, respect, cleanliness, and patience.
Independence
Following routines, completing simple tasks, and caring for personal belongings.
Social Skills
Participating with others, communicating needs, cooperating, and building friendships.
Caring and Age-Appropriate
Lessons and activities are kept short, engaging, and appropriate for young children, with regular transitions between learning, creativity, movement, and play.
Parent Partnership
Parents are encouraged to reinforce duas, manners, routines, and classroom lessons at home so that children benefit from consistency between the program and family life.

Registration for the current Mini Mu’mins session is closed. Information regarding the next summer session will be announced after the dates, schedule, and enrollment arrangements are finalized.
